Mark Fancher’s speed made him a menace to opponents on the football field and on the track, and the 2009 Shawnee Mission Northwest senior’s talents will take him to the Air Force Academy in the fall.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
