St. James boys soccer edges Aquinas, 1-0

St. James Academy senior Christian Kaufman made six saves — including one on a penalty kick — in his varsity debut to guide the Thunder to a 1-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday. Francis Nguyen scored for the Thunder five minutes after Kaufman's PK save to help St. James take home the Clevinger-Cobb Memorial Cup for the first time.
