Stiers shines for SMN in loss to Lawrence High

One of the biggest challenges for the Shawnee Mission North girls basketball team this season has been finding another offensive threat to go along with sophomore standout LeLe Love. First-year coach Amanda McNeill wanted to see more aggressiveness from most of her team in the Indians' 62-30 loss to Lawrence High (ranked No. 7 in Class 6A), but there was one player who she had no complaints about. Sophomore Keagan Stiers saw significant varsity playing time after also seeing some action in the JV game, and stepped up to score 10 points — which matched Love for a team high.
