Mill Valley senior Cooper Kaifes recorded a double-double with 32 points and 12 rebounds, and freshman Keeshawn Mason added 20 points to power the Jaguars past top-seeded Goddard-Eisenhower, 68-64, in the first round of the Class 5A boys basketball state tournament on Wednesday at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka. The Jaguars will take on Bishop Carroll at 4:45 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
