Shawnee Mission Northwest seniors Clayton Hale (left), Joe Specht (middle) and Alex Towler (right) all smile while being introduced by Cougars baseball coach Domenic Mussat at the school's all-athlete signing day ceremony, Wednesday. Hale (Allen County Community College), Specht (Rockhurst University) and Towler (Avila University) all shared excitement to compete at the next level, but all have a goal of winning a state championship with SM Northwest in May before they head their respective ways.

“The magic bike path (75th and Pflumm) winds lazily through water and trees. I feel like I’m in fairy tale land!”
