Shawnee Mission North Boys Basketball State Championship

Shawnee Mission North's boys basketball team won its first state championship since 1953 – when the school was then called Shawnee Mission Rural High School – when the Indians upended Wichita Southeast, 80-56, Saturday at Wichita State's Charles Koch Arena.
