- Bonner Springs athletes began adapting to coach Tierney Thompson’s philosophies on swimming last week by competing in every event. Thompson said she wants swimmers to try a lot of events and said she hopes to build a versatile team of swimmers who can eventually place in a lot of events. She said she thinks that the swimmers surprised themselves with how well they performed in events that they had never swum before.
