Oh, great. And here we go again with the party affiliation jive. Didn't that crowd learn in the last city election that Shawnee voters don't view local government as a proper battleground for tests of partisan purity?

Open meetings decision sparks criticism of district attorney

This is the first balanced story I have read about what was obviously a non-violation. The Mayor has earned the benefit of the doubt, and it is sad to see the DA stretch to tarnish Meyers' reputation through a blatant mischaracterization of events. Howe found no violation. Case closed.

Willoughby is better qualified and done more for the community than any other member of the governing body -- and he's certainly more accomplished than the wankers and fatass bloggers who have never done squat for Shawnee.

Oh, now I get it. I always assumed it was those pesky voters who were responsible for Kevin Straub being the first incumbent in living memory not to survive a city council primary. Instead, it was a single, female employee "forgetting her place."
