...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR NORTHERN
MISSISSIPPI...SOUTHERN PEMISCOT AND SOUTHERN DUNKLIN COUNTIES...
At 613 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm producing a tornado was located
over Hornersville, or 8 miles south of Senath, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Blytheville, Caruthersville, Gosnell, Manila, Hayti, Steele,
Leachville, Senath, Cardwell, Hornersville, Hayti Heights, Arbyrd,
Cooter, Deering, Holland, Calumet, Buckeye, Arkmo, Stark City and
Huffman.
